Welcome to my website
By way of introduction, a few words about what is important to me. My choreographic practice has interweaving strands - choreographer, curator, commissions and teaching.
If I were to define a core attribute of my choreographic career, I would say, working collaboratively. By this, I mean the intense looking and listening that comes with personal contact as well as the engagement with the languages of other art forms. Of other art forms, the distillation of poetry and film as source subject matter are important and music is also of specific interest.
I have worked with musicians throughout my career, and enjoy the energy, skill and creativity they inhabit. From working with Sounds Positive at The Place and then, more recently, with the faculty and students from Trinity, the last 10 years have been rich and rewarding.
